Who can join?

 

Any UAB student that has an interest in rocketry! We welcome undergraduate and graduate students across all majors, not just engineering. If you share our passion, we want you on our team!​

Do I need any experience to join?

 

Nope! Our mentors, technical advisors, and more experienced members will teach you everything you need to know.

How is the club structured?

​The club is divided into 6 sub teams (Rocket Build, Payload, Software/Simulation, Documentation, Logistics, and Safety). These teams collaborate heavily, so don't worry if multiple teams peak your interest.

​Why should I join?​

​Join the UAB rocketry club to fuel your passion, whatever it may be, with motivated and passionate friends who are dedicated to aerospace innovation.

 

This would would provide resume-enhancing experiences, professional networking, leadership, teamwork roles, and mentorship toward high-power rocketry certification.

 

Contribute to UAB history by bringing rockets to Birmingham and representing the city on competition day at the NASA University Student Launch Initiative.
